Cancellation Policy

We understand that things happen and we want to accommodate your bookings as much as possible.


A full 24 hours notice is required for cancelling appointments. Clients are invited to log in to their account in the online booking app and cancel, or, if not possible, to contact us directly (text or call 604-779-4089). Online cancellations can only be made with 24+ hours notice. We charge a $50 for every hour of provider time booked for cancellations, appointment reschedules without a 24 hour notice. For real estate photography reshoots, we charge $100.

Realty Studios considers any appointment that you have made, important. Your appointment is for your exclusive use and when it is cancelled without short notice, or missed altogether, it is often too late or impossible to offer this time to another Realtor or real estate brokerage and the appointment time goes unfilled. Realty Studios understands that agents may feel unhappy, but very much appreciates a cancellation over a no-show.

Please note, as of January 2021 the following cancellation/missed appointment policy is in effect *

  • A full 24 hours notice is required for cancelling appointments. Clients are invited to log in to their account in the Realty Studios online booking app and cancel, or, if not possible, to contact us directly (text or call 604-779-4089). Online cancellations can only be made with 24+ hours notice.

    1. If you cancel with less than 24 hours before your appointment time, you will be billed for $50 of every hour of your appointment booked. This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled.

    2. If we have no access to the real estate listing or if the tenant is threatening us when we arrive on site then the Realtor will be billed for the full cost of their scheduled session.

    3. Clients receive emailed appointment reminders that are set up through their client profile in the Realty Studios booking system, sent out 2 days before their appointment time. Clients also have the option of adding SMS reminders 2 hours before their scheduled session. While clients can log in to their profile at any time to deactivate these reminders, clients understand that in doing so that they are solely responsible for remembering their appointment time. Also, rarely, the Realty Studios may be subject to technical problems whereby reminders are not sent out. These reminders are a courtesy only; clients are responsible to keep or cancel their appointment regardless of whether they receive a reminder or not. If you are uncertain when your next appointment with Realty Studios, please log into your profile on the Realty Studios app or contact Realty Studios via text or call at 604-779-4089 to check the services booked and appointment times.

    4. If you have purchased a prepaid real estate content package and you cancel one of your prepaid sessions with less than 24 hours, or miss the session, this session counts as having been used.

    5. Out of fairness to you, if Realty Studios cancels your appointment with less than 24 hours, your next appointment is 50% off. If Realty Studios cancels your appointment with less than 12 hours, your next appointment is 75% off. In the unlikely event Realty Studios does not show up for your appointment, your next appointment is free.

    6. If you have booked a series of real estate content appointments and have cancelled your most recent appointment with less than 24 hours notice or have missed that appointment, you have 24 hours to pay the associated fees to retain your remaining pre-booked sessions.

    7. Missed appointments and late cancellations are payable via credit card, e-transfer, crypto currencies, and or PayPal. Realty Studios provides receipts marked “cancellation fee” or “missed appointment” and cannot mark such receipts as a “real estate floor plan, real estate videos, etc” as this constitutes fraud. Realty Studios appreciates your prompt payment and will offer bundle discounts and attractive payment options for those clients that have paid promptly in the past.
